Upcoming Publications
The Apparitions project is still a work in progress. I'll be wrapping up through summer and fall and shopping the book around to publishers shortly after. My husband Jonathan Montgomery Pollock is curating photography submissions. Authors and photographers who have submitted work will hear from us with final selections by the end of the year.

Recent Appearances
I spoke in front of hundreds of people in person and thousands in film and online this spring, sharing my passion for the folklore and haunted places of Chicago and beyond, as well as my love of poetry, nature, and animals...especially reptiles. Meet my snakes Sunshine, Moonlight, and Miles on The Edge of the Rabbit Hole. I also got to see myself on the big screen in the Scary Stories documentary and fulfill a childhood wish to appear in the same space as some of our generation's most respected children's literature and folklore writers. And I got to do my best Robert Stack impression as the host of Michael Kleen's Tinker's Shadow documentary. Here are the highlights below:

I've got the next two months blocked off for summertime fun, but have some great late summer/early fall appearances lined up for after that. They are:
