Explore your inner poet! This beginner’s workshop, led by author, poet, and storyteller Amelia Cotter will provide you with inspiration and tools to turn your words into poems. There will be opportunities for writing and reflection as well as reading and sharing. Please bring a favorite poem for discussion and any unfinished work, work needing revision, or simply blank pages. Handouts will be provided.

• Snakes: Myth and Magic
Join author and storyteller Amelia Cotter and her husband Jonathan Montgomery Pollock for an exploration of snakes in folklore, mythology, pop culture, and religion around the world, followed by a meet and greet with friendly snake ambassadors Sunshine (ball python), Moonlight (spotted python), Miles (corn snake), and Dewey (red-tailed boa).

• Where the Party Never Ended: Ghosts of the Old Baraboo Inn
Join author and storyteller Amelia Cotter for an exploration of the Old Baraboo Inn's haunted history, ghost stories, and firsthand paranormal accounts, based on her book of the same name. Home to a lively cast of ghostly characters, stories of the Inn's sordid history abound. For more than 150 years, the Inn's atmosphere has remained warm, welcoming, and full of music, dancing, laughter, and ghosts.
